You may register to vote if you fulfill all of the following requirements:
You must register to vote at least 30 days prior to the election you wish to vote. The registration deadline for the Houston November 7, 2023 general election is October 10, 2023.

4. Call 713-274-8200 to be assisted in English, Vietnamese, Chinese, or Spanish.
5. Pick-up an application at your local U.S. Postal office, library, high school, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Texas Health and Human Services Commission and other government offices.

If you are currently living in Harris County but are registered to vote in another county, you must be registered to vote in Harris County at least 30 days prior to Election Day in order to vote in Harris County.
